Try looking at your house through the buyer’s eyes as though you've never been there before. Any time or money invested in the following will bring back more money in resale and hopefully a faster sale.

1. Clear all unnecessary objects from furniture, throughout the house. Keep decorative items to a minimum.
2. Clear kitchen counter tops. Clear refrigerator of magnets, messages etc.
3. Bathroom, remove all unnecessary items. Put out "show" towels in the morning.
4. Rearrange or remove furniture if necessary. Makes rooms look larger.
5. Take down personal pictures and objects from the walls. Patch and paint if necessary.
6. Review the house room by room and
   a. Paint any walls needing paint
   b. Clean carpets and/or drapes that need it
   c. Clean windows.
7. Store extra possessions in the garage or rent a storage unit.
8. Leave certain lights on during the day. During showings, turn on all lights and lamps.
9. Fresh flowers add warmth.

1. Move all garbage cans, discarded wood scraps, building materials into garage
2. Sweep all sidewalks & check gutters
3. Prune bushes & trees if needed.
4. Keep lawn cut. Remove weeds
5. Clear patios or decks of small items
6. Check around front door for cobwebs. CURB APPEAL REALLY WORKS.
