| STAGING YOUR HOME TO SELL |
Save Time & Money with a Professional Staging
Staging your home can mean simply the rearrangement
of furniture, the removal of some clutter or sweeping the sidewalk
and mowing the lawn.
A recent study of 2,000 real estate agents in 46
states found that key improvements, lead to quick and lucrative home
sales, included lightening and brightening the space and removing
clutter from rooms. Because it's your home, you might find it difficult
to be objective about what is pleasing to potential buyers. That's
where I can provide a valuable service. If you're selling a home,
you're already too busy. Let me help!
My expertise is in creating rooms that are warm and
welcoming. Because my redesigned rooms have a warm and cozy quality,
potential buyers feel welcome and comfortable. The goal is for them
to be able to imagine their things in your space.
Obviously, the more attractive your home is the sooner
it will sell. Picture this; your family home with its comfortable
“lived in” feeling is up for sale. Your neighbor’s
home is also for sale; this can be good or bad competition. Your neighbors
hire a stager to come in and give them ideas and suggestions and stage
their property to improve the chances of selling. It sells within
the first week with several offers. Your house stays on the market
much longer and only sells after you lower the price twice. This is
the difference staging a home can have in the real estate industry.
Having Let Patty Do It stage your home is an investment that will
pay a significant return.
I offer a Consultation Service at $100.00 an hour. I
walk through the home with the homeowner and discuss all of the areas
that need to be improved to add to the visual appeal and decorative
balance of the home. The homeowner is then encouraged to make the
recommended updates. I also offer a "hands-on" staging service,
moving the furnishings to show the best features of the home.
I can also stage an empty house arranging vignettes
to help feature specific areas in the home. The cost on this can vary,
depending on what “props” are needed. If furniture needs
to be rented or movers must be hired, the cost will also be higher.
