Welcome to the Let Patty Do It News and Tips Newsletter issue number 11.

Welcome to my latest newsletter. It has been an eventful year. My business has been absolutely fantastic and I want to take this moment to thank you all and wish you a wonderful holiday season and terrific coming year.

I know it’s December, but it’s time to start thinking about the New Year and your resolutions. Did you vow last year to get organized and get rid of a lot of things? Have you been following the one in one out rule?
Let’s see now. You’ve been getting my newsletter; you’ve visited my web site for organizing and staging tips; you’ve put like things together, set up your files in your office (there’s some filing that needs to be done, but it won’t take long because your files are in good order); and you remembered the one in one out rule; the kids have their containers for schools papers and projects.
Am I right so far? Do I sense some eye rolling?
The majority of New Years resolutions fail because if they were fun, like learning to dance like Dancing With the Stars-we’d be all over it!!! However, going through your closet and getting rid of the business suits you got when you finished college--you may go back to work someday in a place that requires out of date business suits (more eye rolling) isn’t nearly as much fun! That’s where I come in.
Why would you hire an organizer? My clients say because it’s like hiring a coach and trainer because I will keep you on track and we will brainstorm about your style and your stuff.
What you haven’t been able to accomplish in years, we can do in a few hours! Why? One reason is when you pay someone to help you, you don’t stop organizing to do laundry or start dinner or run to the grocery store. You just tackle the task at hand. Focus is vital for success. Another reason is that a trained professional organizer knows the right questions to ask to help sort through years of accumulation, questions that you may not know to ask yourself.

So, if in the New Year, you decide to finally tackle some of these clutter issues, I hope you’ll think-“Let Patty Do It!”
